1 750-mL bottle Charles Shaw Merlot (or Cabernet…or any other cheap-ish red you love!)
1 1/2 C fresh squeezed orange juice
1/2 C brandy
1/4 C triple sec
1/4 C granulated sugar
1 2-inch piece of fresh ginger, skin removed & chopped into large pieces
1 apple, cored & diced
1 orange, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
1 lime, sliced
for serving: additional thinly sliced orange and apple

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher & stir to combine.
Let sangria sit in the refrigerator overnight, or for at least 12 hours. Strain out the sangria fruit & discard.
To serve, pour over ice and garnish with additional thinly sliced orange and apple.
